Business Introduction

After weeks of brainstorming and planning, we, the GNIS students of the business class came up with a project which will be new and different from any kind of projects the class ever did had- Starting a shop in the guangzhou zoo! This project will be aiming to help the guangzhou zoo in becoming better and let us the students be able to gain valuble experience and have fun.  So profit will not matter to us, and if we do gain profit, it will either be given to a charity or it will be part of the school's fund. We plan to get the funds for the project from the zoo and the school,the name of the shop will be "Bazoo Bazaar", the product will be mainly stuffed toys and t-shirts for the visitors of the zoo. The students of the class will be divided into different departments, and a project manager is chosen from the students and will take role in leading all the other students in making the project a success. The different departments include the designing team, the marketing team, and the managing team. The members of each team will contribute to the project in different ways according to his/her job in each department. In addition for the designing department, we would like to have the art class in part of helping out on our designs. This will be the first step we take out for business which will be the chance for us to aquire skills, learn, and get real experience. Through this whole process we will be cooperating with the class and communicating with the customer, this will be a great oppurtunity for us as a class, individual, and team.
